The mind (and thoughts) of Christ

For to be carnally minded is death, but to be spiritually minded is life and peace. Rom 8:6

Someone says something foolish. The first thought that pops in your head is “That’s stupid!”
The first words that come out of your mouth in response, “You’re an idiot!”
Calling someone an idiot is negative. It is not life and peace, therefore it is death.
The thought and words are carnally minded.

I believe Jesus did not have a carnal mind so He never had a carnal/death thought or said carnal/death words.
John 6:63 – The words that I speak to you are spirit, and they are life.
Jesus never had a negative thought about anyone. He never thought, “That’s stupid!” or said, “You’re an idiot!”
He never looked at a woman in lust or looked at leper as trashy.
His heart and mind was set on God and His purpose to glorify the Father.

Is it possible for you to do the same?
Yes!
Let this mind be in you which was also in Christ Jesus, who, being in the form of God, did not consider it robbery to be equal with God, but made Himself of no reputation, taking the form of a bondservant, and coming in the likeness of men. And being found in appearance as a man, He humbled Himself and became obedient to the point of death, even the death of the cross. Phil 2:5-8

You must become the servant of God become obedient to the point of death – to crucify the flesh and its passions and desires. (Gal 5:24)
