Narrow is the gate and difficult is the way which leads to life, and there are few who find it. Matt 7:14
What is your greatest difficulty as a Christian?
Perhaps it’s true forgiveness because you hang onto the offensive and carry a grudge.
Maybe it’s lust, tithing, your attitude, or the words that come out of your mouth.
Jesus said it is a difficult way because it’s so narrow!
The world is broad, as He said in the previous verse – wide is the gate and broad is the way that leads to destruction, and there are many who go in by it. Matt 7:13
The secular world is broad-minded in how it thinks. It is all-inclusive and tolerant (so it says) until you say you’re a Christian and then you are not included and your views are intolerant.
Worldly thinking and worldly ways makes you secularly fat. As you lose the weight of the world you spiritually slim-up and fit better on the narrow way.
Your greatest Christian difficulty is overcome by a greater relationship with Christ. There’s always room for improvement there!
Get into His word and seek His will for you in prayer! Watch your broad ways slim up!
