I recently read about celebrity atheists. One said that he rips certain pages out of the Gideon Bibles that he finds in motel rooms. Those pages contain scripture that condemns his lifestyle.
Destroying God’s word doesn’t destroy God’s intentions. Sure, His word has some tough judgments and penalties for sin. It will tell you about sin and its affect on your life.
Tear out those pages, if you wish – but it doesn’t change a thing. Destroy every Bible, every account of God’s word in the world and it doesn’t change a thing.
It doesn’t change how much God really loves you and how He gave His own Son for you.
