Then he called for a light, ran in, and fell down trembling before Paul and Silas. Acts 16:29
It was midnight. It was dark. A thick darkness where you can’t see your hand in front of your face.
In the darkness, two men are beaten, bleeding, and chained to the wall; refusing to give into the fear of the darkness.
Inside each man, a light is shining in the darkness. It is the light of Jesus in their hearts.
This light came forth in the form of praying and praising.
In the darkness, Paul and Silas had light.
In the light, the jailer lived in darkness.
He called for a light to see Paul and Silas.
Paul and Silas lit his way!
In the darkest of times, shine the Light for others to see.
