In the beginning God created the heavens and the earth. Gen 1:1
Many scientists deny the existence of God but the existence of other life forms in the universe.
Is humanity unique in all creation?
Certainly, I do believe in God. I believe in angels, cherubim, and seraphim. I believe in all the Bible says about the creation.
Therefore, what does the Bible say about life in the universe?
God took particular interest in creating the heavens and the earth and mentioning it first in Genesis 1:1.
He created the firmament on Earth on day two. This firmament is probably nothing more than the atmosphere that appeared above the waters.
God then divided the waters from the land and created plant life and trees on day three.
There is still no mention of other life in universe because everything done so far has happened on Earth.
It’s not until the fourth day when God creates things outside the planet by saying, “Let there be lights in the firmament of the heavens to divide the day from the night; and let them be for signs and seasons, and for days and years; and let them be for lights in the firmament of the heavens to give light on the earth”; and it was so. Then God made two great lights: the greater light to rule the day, and the lesser light to rule the night. He made the stars also. God set them in the firmament of the heavens to give light on the earth, and to rule over the day and over the night, and to divide the light from the darkness.” Gen 1:14-18
So the majority of His attention has been on Earth, even after the creation of the sun, moon, and stars, He turns His attention back to Earth to create sea life, birds, animals, and finally man.
Then He rested. There was nothing more to create once day six was finished. So I don’t think He continued working on other planets on day eight and beyond.
In my opinion, life on earth is it and Jesus came to redeem the lives that live here.
