For the wicked boasts of his heart’s desire; He blesses the greedy and renounces the Lord. The wicked in his proud countenance does not seek God; God is in none of his thoughts. Ps 10:3-4
Someone posted a nature photo on Facebook and declared the awesome power of God in creation.
The first person to have a comeback was an atheist declaring there is a scientific explanation for the occurrence and there is no God.
The battle was on between the atheist and those that believe in God.
There was an exchange of words and it seemed tempers flared.
I stayed out of it.
Then I thought about it.
Why is it atheist’s worry so much about God?
Why post something against something you do not believe in?
If God doesn’t exist, why are they so concerned about those that believe He does?
My scripture today says the wicked does not seek God. I have equated atheism with wickedness. Paul said, “God shows his anger from heaven against all sinful, wicked people who suppress the truth by their wickedness.” (Rom 1:18)
Someone that declares there is no God is suppressing the truth and that is wickedness.
Christian’s can do the same thing – suppress the truth by not sharing the Gospel. This is wickedness. It is written whatever you do in word or deed, do all in the name of the Lord Jesus, giving thanks to God the Father through Him. Col 3:17
So don’t suppress the glory of God – declare it in all things! And pray for those that do not believe.
