In God I have put my trust; I will not be afraid. What can man do to me? Ps 56:11
In Lufkin, Texas, Sheriff Greg Sanches was approached by some deputies about the possibility of putting the national motto “In God We Trust” on the patrol vehicles.
Greg took it to Facebook and the response was overwhelming.
Of course there are always naysayers, many of which wanted to know if tax dollars would be used.
A local graphics business offered to donate the decals.
A donation needed approval of the county commissioners.
In a standing room only meeting the commissioners approved the donation and now the Angelina County Sheriff’s Office (ASCO) has “In God We Trust” on all their vehicles.
I applaud the action and wish just saw on Sheriff David Smith’s Facebook page that it’s happening in my home county of San Augustine.
I’ve also noticed that in neighboring Sabine County, Sheriff Maddox has also declared that the motto will be on the department vehicles!
It’s time to take a stand! Start a movement in your county to proclaim “In God We Trust”.
Some may shout things about “Christian privilege” but since this is the National Motto it is an American privilege!
Pray for the law enforcement in your area!
