If you wanted Jesus as your Savior it probably wouldn’t take too much to find someplace or someone to tell you about Him.
There are many churches, pastor’s, and Christian’s that can help you.
The problem is most people don’t want to actively search Him out.
It reminds me of the birth of Jesus.
The wisemen came to Jerusalem and asked King Herod about the new King. Herod knew nothing.
And when he had gathered all the chief priests and scribes of the people together, he inquired of them where the Christ was to be born.
So they said to him, “In Bethlehem of Judea, for thus it is written by the prophet: ‘But you, Bethlehem, in the land of Judah, are not the least among the rulers of Judah; For out of you shall come a Ruler Who will shepherd My people Israel.’” Matt 2:4-6
Herod always had the information at his fingertips. The entire nation did! The star the wisemen followed had to be seen by everyone but most chose to ignore any further searching for what it could mean.
Much like today, many close their eyes and minds to the signs that God is showing. Many ignore any unfulfilled scripture that points to the return of Christ. It’s much easier for them to say, “He could come back any day now!”
Others prefer not to trouble themselves with any kind of search for salvation through Jesus, choosing instead to take a chance that their good works will get them into heaven.
Don’t be a herod! Don’t ignore the word of God. Dig deeper. If the scribes of old could do it, then you can too!
Be better than they were!
The answer is in His word and should be in His people.
