2 Cor 12:2 such a one was caught up to the third heaven.
There is a book and movie about a little boy who dies and goes to heaven. Before this there were other testimonies of people who said they died and went to heaven and came back.
Going to dying and going to heaven is nothing new . Paul did it.
The difference is Paul was forbidden to say anything about it, whereas the little boy’s story has become a major motion picture.
Do I doubt that someone could die, go to heaven, and then be resuscitated? No, to do so is to doubt the Apostle Paul.
The testimony of Paul gives me nothing to go on. He did not reveal who and what he saw or how he felt. He was even given a “thorn in the flesh” to keep him humble.
Paul’s concern was not with dwelling on the future but on the present! The finish line is ahead of the runner but he doesn’t dream of the winners platform and receiving the medal – he concentrates on his present run; on his breathing, on his pace, and on his competition.
You and I should do the same – concentrate on the race and not the finish line.
Abba, I know there is a wonderful life awaiting for me after this present one but I need to keep my head in this world and on the work that is present and ahead. Thank You for giving a glimpse of what awaits me when my work is through. In Jesus’ name, YES&AMEN
