2 Tim 2:12 If we deny Him, He also will deny us.
Recently I watched the movie God’s Not Dead, in which students of a philosophy class are asked to write “God is dead” on a piece of paper, sign it, and hand it to the professor.
One young man couldn’t do it. The professor told him it would be okay if he did. He could write it, go back to his dorm, and no one would know.
“I would know” was the student’s response.
I wonder how many other students in that class considered themselves Christian and did as told?
Perhaps some may have thought of Peter, who began to curse and swear, saying, “I do not know the Man!” Matt 26:74
Everyone knew what he did and he was forgiven!
But this isn’t about Peter – it’s about you.
It’s about your treatment of Christ.
Do you deny Him? Are you embarrassed to be a Christian at times?
Paul said, “I am not ashamed of the gospel of Christ, for it is the power of God to salvation for everyone who believes…” Rom 1:16
Stand strong in your faith! God’s not dead!
