Always Hope with Prayer

Matt 9:18 As Jesus was saying this, the leader of a synagogue came and knelt before him. “My daughter has just died,” he said, “but you can bring her back to life again if you just come and lay your hand on her.”

What faith this dad had! You know he has to be very distraught that his only daughter has died – she is daddy’s little girl – but death hasn’t stopped him from seeking help for her.

That was read at church last night and one of the young members of the congregation said that God can heal you even when you don’t ask – just like this little girl.

That is right. The little girl did not ask to be healed; the dad did!
This shows the power of prayer for another person, even when it seems that all hope is gone and nothing further can be done.

There is always hope!
Never give up!
Never stop pushing forward!
Never quit!

1 Thess 4:13 – we want you to know what will happen to the believers who have died so you will not grieve like people who have no hope.

Abba Father, I have renewed hope today in prayer for someone else. There are many that need salvation, renewal, forgiveness, or healing. I will pray for them today in Jesus’ name! YES&AMEN

  1. And so I do pray. When the answer is quick, I quickly tell them it was God’s grace, and love for them NOT ME.
