Then the devil went away, and angels came and took care of Jesus. Matt 4:11
There are many scriptures that describe Father’s love and care for you.
Look at the birds. They don’t plant or harvest or store food in barns, for your heavenly Father feeds them. And aren’t you far more valuable to him than they are? Matt 6:26
If God cares so wonderfully for wildflowers that are here today and thrown into the fire tomorrow, he will certainly care for you. Matt 6:30
Give your burdens to the Lord, and he will take care of you. He will not permit the godly to slip and fall. Ps 55:22
He will care for us and save us. Isa 33:22
And this same God who takes care of me will supply all your needs from his glorious riches, which have been given to us in Christ Jesus. Phil 4:19
Give all your worries and cares to God, for he cares about you. 1 Peter 5:7
Do you recall that in an earlier temptation Satan used scripture to entice Jesus to jump off the Temple? Satan said the scriptures revealed that the angels would keep Him from being harmed.
You do not need empty, lying promises from Satan to assure you of what God will do. God will keep His promises for you and minister to you through the Holy Spirit.
Jesus knew this! He did not need to listen to Satan to have Father bless Him. When the struggle was over then God personally took care of Him.
When you overcome the struggles and temptations, God is going to take care of you and bless you beyond what you believe.
In your darkest hour the light of Jesus is there to assure you of His presence in your life.
Jesus kept His heart and mind on Father throughout the temptation. As a result Father took care of Him when it was over.
Abba Father will do the same for you. I have experienced His love and care. He has provided for my family many, many times.
The problem is we forget this and the next little life-trial that comes along will tail spin us into a downward spiral.
We forget that God was right there with us the last time. We forget that He sustained us the last time.
It’s because we take our eyes off God and look at the problem.
Our eyes magnify the problem to the point it looks bigger than God!
Here is my conclusion on this, and I’m preaching to me too!
God does not leave us or forsake us – His words!
If we keep our heart and mind on pleasing Him – though we face temptations and problems – God will be with us the whole time and will see us through it all.
