forgiveNow concerning yesterday’s Foot-In-Mouth thought, it’s amazing how what is said is repeated over and over without mention of what is done about it.

foot-in-mouthI received an email relating the following story.
I check it out with Snopes and, with a few minor mistakes in names, it is TRUE.

Luke AFB is west of Phoenix and is rapidly being surrounded by civilization that complains about the noise from the base and its planes, forgetting that it was there long before they were.  A certain colonel and lieutenant colonel at Luke AFB deserves a big pat on the back. broken-foot1I met a lady yesterday on crutches with a broken foot so I asked her what happened.
“Do you want the made up, embellished version or the truth?” she said.
I told her to start with the made up story.
She told of going to Montana for Christmas and skiing on the slopes. Continue reading
